Professor Jonathan Cohen
Prof. Emeritus & Senior Advisor
Professor Cohen is an Emeritus Professor of Infectious Diseases at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, where he specialized in treating severe bacterial infections. He was the first Chair of Infectious Disease at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School / Hammersmith Hospital, President of the International Society for Infectious Diseases, and a NED at Kings College Hospital NHS Trust since 2015.
He worked for 11 years as the founding Dean of Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Jon has published >200 papers on research and clinical trials into septic shock and spent five years as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Infectious Diseases.

Professor David Livermore
Prof. Emeritus & Senior Advisor
For 40 years, Professor Livermore has belonged to – then led – teams that have defined the evolving epidemiology and molecular nature of antimicrobial resistance; and was Head of the UK National Reference Laboratory for antimicrobial resistance.
He has authored over 500 papers, has edited for multiple journals and has served on UK government advisory committees on antimicrobial resistance and healthcare infection. David now works part-time for the University of East Anglia while also consulting the medical industry on antibiotic development and rapid diagnostics.

Jonathan recently retired as Senior Partner with Kearney Management Consultants, where he led the European Healthcare Practice. He also founded NEXT Consulting providing Software as a Service technology solution.
Over a 30-year career, Jonathan has worked with leading pharma and medical technology companies, health insurers, care providers and governments, helping to develop and launch digital healthcare solutions, launch and improve access to new therapies, pricing and health system design.
Jonathan recently retired as Senior Partner with Kearney Management Consultants, where he led the European Healthcare Practice. He also founded NEXT Consulting providing Software as a Service technology solution.
