About Genpax
At Genpax, we are building a platform to revolutionize the use of genome sequencing information in human, food, and animal health. By combining traditional and new cutting-edge computational methodologies, we want to radically increase the utility, scalability, and speed with which genome sequencing information can be accessed and used to deliver near real-time diagnostic and infection control solution for human and animal healthcare worldwide. The goal is to enable proactive infection control at early stages of outbreaks and in response to more dangerous and / or more antibiotic resistant strains. We believe that we have all the missing pieces to address this problem and our goal is to convert these into a real-world solution as quickly and robustly as possible.
Responsibilities:
Partner with a regional sales representative to develop strategic, technical, and territory account plans. Collaborate to determine customer requirements and objectives.
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
Assess client needs and provide customized technical solutions.
Assist in the preparation of customer’s detailed service proposals.
Work closely with the product and science teams to co-ordinate client conversations into successful sales and to assist in defining the Genpax product roadmap.
Plan, manage, and execute successful customer on-site product evaluations and post-sale installations when necessary.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Respond to technical inquiries and provide initial customer and product support.
Manage the Regional account customer base on behalf of their technical needs.
Act as the internal technical liaison between the sales, product, and software development teams.
Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Assist in the preparation of Genpax technical documentation and manuals.
If required, train sales staff on technical aspects of products or services.
Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company's technical capabilities.
Stay informed about competitors' products and market trends.
Attend sales meetings, any related training sessions, and conferences to enhance skills.
Travel to customer sites as needed for technical presentations and support.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Work as part of a sales team to achieve individual and collective regional goals.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of proven experience in technical pre-sales in the med-tech or life sciences industry.
A deep understanding of genetics, microbiology, and/or infections control.
Minimum requirement of Bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree in a related filed is a plus.
Experience with programming/scripting and/or automation tools is a plus.
Extensive Knowledge of SaaS cloud service technologies (in particular AWS)
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, takes initiative, multi-tasking, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for cutting-edge technology.
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in market research tools and data analysis software.
